Consumer Class Action Against Rite-Aid Aloe Vera Gel Filed

Lattie Malanga Libertino, LLP has filed a California class action lawsuit against Rite-Aid stores for false advertising and misbranding of its Rite Aid Renewal After Sun Gel with Aloe Vera. Kalajian v. Rite Aid Corporation, 2:17-CV-06777.  The case, filed in the United States District Court – Central District of California, was filed on behalf of the putative class representative, Tina Kalajian.  The suit alleges that the Renewal After Sun Gel, while advertised to contain Aloe Vera, and which the label states contains Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Powder, in fact does not contain Aloe Vera, or its key marker, Acemannan.  On behalf of the class, Ms. Kalajian seeks in excess of $5,000,0000.00 in damages.

Ms. Kalajian is represented by Gerald B. Malanga, Esq. of Lattie Malanga Liberetino.   Mr. Malanga may be reached directly at (213) 985-1529
